Wedding Ceremony

After listening to your ideas; I will help you create the perfect ceremony for you both. Each wedding is personalised to incorporate traditional ideas, religious beliefs or rituals as well as music or readings.

A commemorative certificate can be included in the ceremony and signed by the couple with their witnesses.

Same Sex Wedding Ceremony

As an independent celebrant I can help you celebrate your marriage or civil partnership with no restrictions to content. You can be as creative as you want; together we can plan your perfect ceremony which will reflect your personalities. The ceremony can take place indoors or outdoors, any time and any place.

Renewing your vows

Couples renewing their vows are celebrating staying together. It's a wonderful way of acknowledging the love you share in a unique ceremony with close friends and family. This can be held anywhere, have any content, reading or music choice. I will be happy to help you create a ceremony that celebrates your achievements as a couple.

Meet me

To help me create a unique and bespoke ceremony for your special day it is important to get to know you both. After my initial contact I will ask you to complete a simple form giving me as much information about your expectations as possible. We can then arrange a convenient time to meet up in person or Skype to discuss your plans.

Save the date

I am happy to take bookings up to 12 months in advance to secure the date of your ceremony. When you have chosen the venue (or have permission to hold the ceremony at your preferred location) a non-refundable deposit will be required.

Create the perfect ceremony

After discussing your expectations, the structure and content for your personal ceremony, I will create a draft copy for you both to approve. You can add readings, write your own vows, promises, even choose a personal ring exchange. Together we will create your bespoke ceremony for the big day.

Six weeks before the big day

You can register your intent to get married at your local register office up to 12 months before the big day - but no less than 28 days before.

Then the register office will complete the legal paperwork usually a day or so before your @weddingdayceremony. I can guide you through this process.

The final draft of your bespoke ceremony will be sent to you for approval and the remaining balance of your booking will be due to be paid.

Rehearsal

I will meet up with you both at your chosen venue for a rehearsal so you know exactly what to expect on the day and can feel relaxed that everything will go smoothly.

Your big day is finally here

I will arrive at the venue an hour before the start of the ceremony to greet your guests and making sure everything is in place. I'll be working together with your chosen photographer / videographer to ensure they capture every moment of your special day. Should you wish to be presented with a commemorative certificate this can be included in your ceremony.
